The purpose of the guidebook is to provide marginalized adults with tools to understand and confront the ways in which data-based technologies are being integrated into our everyday lives and impacting our ability to self-determine and thrive. To do so, the authors suggest that we must first understand how our communities are impacted by data-based technologies. In this guidebook they provide ideas on how get people to understand their data bodies and the options they have.
